Gwyn is accounted for, and is fit and well. This is Tom reporting; the guy she was dating until about a month ago.
Gwyn called me Thursday night. She's still in the New Orleans area but is on higher ground with friends, and has good supplies of water, food and ammunition. She sounded genuinely upbeat and asked me to relay messages to her family and loyal readers. She'll update her blogs when power and communications are restored, or when she moves on from the city.
