Well, well, well...I just cancelled my second interview at Port of Call as the result of a serendipitous chat with Jim Monaghan...Looks like I will be working part time at 13 and maybe picking up a couple of shifts at Molly's. Infinitely preferable to the other option. I'm meeting with him formally later today to discuss possible schedules etc. Looks like it will primarily be day shifts...less money, but more of a chance to have something approaching a real life.
The only real problem I have now, at least the one I'm allowed to speak of, is logistics. I need to move out of my apartment next Sunday or Monday. Therefore, I need someone to help me rent a truck, and I need at least one big strong man to help me move heavy things. Also, I need to give my new landlord money on the day I move in...which I will have in the form of my deposit from my current residence, but not for a week after I move out. Thus, I need either a place to store me and my crap until I have the deposit back and shift over to the new place, or I need to somehow materialize a significant amount of ducats in the form of a short-term loan. Or I need to rob a bank. For that, I would need a Partner in Crime...anyone interested in applying for this position? If any of y'all can help me figure out my logistical nightmares, please get in touch with me asap. Immoral support and Jameson would also be welcome.
