Just a brief update...
Things are still up in the air. The Houston thing is still the most likely possibility.
I will be going against all of my instincts and gut feelings in order to attempt the long-distance relationship thing. I can't leave him...We need each other.
Not an optimal solution by any stretch of the imagination, but I owe him the attempt.
Gods have mercy on my soul.

Newsflash: Houston is definate. He accepted the job today. September 15 he leaves, and I stay here. He says we'll see each other most weekends. I guess that will have to be enough. I don't have any real choice.
