Oooooooooo, my aching head.
Another fantastic Bacchanal in the Quarter last night with my beloved.
We stopped in at Molly's around five for just one drink before going grocery shopping. I think it was around midnight when we left there and headed to O'Flaherty's. I'm not sure when we left O'Flah's, 'cause that's when things really got kind of fuzzy for me, but I know we staggered out of Lounge Lizards around 4:30 am. If there was anything in between, I no longer have any memories of it, so apologies to everyone as appropriate.
I do remember having pizza at Vic's around 5:00 in the morning just before we made it home to the palace, and I'm pretty sure we were still drinking at that time. We never did get to the grocery store, which is probably just as well...I'd hate to see what we would have purchased...whiskey, whipped cream, and three rolls of duct tape please...
In other news, it looks like Hurricane Dennis is going to miss us by a wide margin, so, instead of fleeing the city like rats, we're having a bit of a soiree instead. Barbecue,champagne,and rooftop swimming anyone?
I'm hoping this hangover will disperse before it comes time to start on the next one.
Two hours sleep, energy drinks, and antihistamines seem to be doing the trick...Perhaps a cheeky little whiskey to start the day out right...Ah, life in New Orleans. Decadent, my dears, decadent.
