Yet another incredible evening of conversation. I am more amazed at his wit and brilliance and courage with each passing moment.
He is leaving in four hours for a couple of days offshore doing arcane engineering thingies,I guess. He gets to fly in a helicopter, which I envy. I prefer planes, but flying is flying... He's promised to pull some strings and get me a ride on a blimp at some point...one of the few vehicles of flight I have no experience with. I really think he needs to trade up to an A-10 warthog...I'm sure he could get one on E-Bay. It's very comforting to be sitting here typing knowing he's in the next room sleeping. I'm going to miss him the next couple of days, but at the same time, some alone time is in order. I need to process and assimilate these amazing changes in my life, which is hard to do while I'm experiencing them. Neither of us knows where this all might lead, but the present is glorious. I am indescribably happy and grateful. Thank you, Thomas, for bringing so much light into my life.
