Just spoke to Thomas, who is off doing mysterious things offshore...It looks as if there is a strong likelihood he will be transferred to Houston in September. Not good. Not happy. Mild feelings of panic. He says it's only a one hour plane ride, and he does have a pilot's license and all, but I would see him so rarely. Telephones and emails can't compare to seeing him smile for me. You can't cuddle effectively online, either.
I'm not going to suggest he take me with him...I will show some pride and dignity and moral fortitude. I will smile sweetly and wave goodbye. I will...
